This is a collection of original songs mostly written by Bleu McAuley and Josh Kaufman. Bleu McAuley is also the producer on the album. As an artist, Josh Kaufman has been known to cover a broad range of styles. This project sees him digging into his childhood roots. Kaufman was a child of the 80’s and 90’s and grew up listening to the likes of Prince, Janet Jackson, Babyface, Brian McKnight, Boyz II Men, and countless other stars of r&b, soul, and new jack swing who defined the sound of the late 80,s and early 90’s. This album is a tribute to that era- at times almost a total throwback, while at other times adding a decidedly modern element.
